Hi! I'm Debbie, the owner of Pawty Time Pet Care. I first started thinking about
operating a pet sitting and dog walking business after a friend asked me to stay
with her elderly diabetic cat while she visited some friends in another state. The cat
needed daily insulin shots, and my friend had all but resigned herself to never
leaving home for more than 24 hours. When my friend called to check in on her
fur-baby, I told her that I gave the cat her shots without incident. I'll never forget
the sound of shock and joy in her voice as she said, “Really? You gave Catrina her
shots? Hang on.” I heard her muffle the receiver with her hand while she excitedly
asked her friend, “Can I stay for a couple more days?"
She had planned on a short visit with her friends so that she could get home in
time to give the cat her insulin, but with a capable pet-sitter, she had more
freedom to do other things, like visit with old friends for more than 24 hours. She
didn't have to worry about whether the cat would fall seriously ill without her
medication. I felt good about giving her peace of mind and a little more freedom.
I try to bring that kind of satisfaction to all of my clients by going the extra mile to
make sure the pets have top-notch care as well as a fun time. Whether it's giving
shots to a diabetic cat or taking a power walk with an exuberant puppy, I treat all
of my clients -- two-legged and four-legged alike -- the way I would want myself
and my pets to be treated.
In my free time, I enjoy watching Gopher Women's Hockey, cooking, and
rubbing the bellies of my two pups, Chester (a Pug) and Gunther (a Bernese
Mountain Dog mix). And yes, Chester's tongue does stick out like that all the time!

About Us
I joined Pawty Time Pet Care in August 2007. I am a
huge pet-lover and find spending time with animals
incredibly rewarding and enjoyable. I have always
had dogs and cats in my life and I have over 10
years of experience dog/catsitting & dog-walking.
When not spending time with other people's pets,
my favorite things to do are skiing, running or
paddling with my dog Mesa.
