Debbie has been the best walking companion I could have ever hoped for! We explore my neighborhood together
every day, and sometimes she even takes me to visit dog parks. If it's raining she makes sure that I get lots of indoor
playtime so I'm pooped in time for my afternoon nap, and she always keeps my mom up to date on all of our
adventures. Best of all, she refills my food and water and makes sure I have lots of chew toys to keep me busy while
mom's at work...and she always gives me a little treat before she leaves. I love her so much that I squeal with joy
when she walks in the door!

Hello. My name is TOBY and I am a handsome, diabetic tabby cat. I’m really proud to be the first cat to give a
testimonial for Debbie (and I’m sure I won’t be the last!)
My mom FINALLY went on vacation this past April. She never goes anywhere, partly because of me. She worries
because, being diabetic, there are a few things to know about my care: timing of shots, measuring water intake, what
to look for if I seem to be getting sick, etc. She thinks, “what if Toby gets depressed when I am gone and stops
eating?” Sweet, I know... but it’s not likely that I would be depressed if Debbie is coming to be with me!
I liked Debbie the minute I met her - she was sweet and calm and instantly recognized how beautiful and intelligent I
am. She was very impressed with my catnip banana - how could I not love her??? My mom liked her because she
was very smart and understood immediately about measuring out insulin and getting the timing right, etc. Believe
me, I tried to trick her into thinking I was supposed to get TWO scoops of food per visit, but she didn’t fall for that! Of
course, my mom was worried about me when she left, but Debbie put her fears to rest - she called her to let her know
everything was fine and she even emailed her pictures of me eating, playing, resting and looking adorable! When she
got home, my mom found that Debbie had written a diary of everything we did together, plus all the medical info my
mom needed to know that I had been well cared for.
Debbie was really responsible - she was always on time, followed my mom’s instructions to the letter and played with
me and cuddled me and made me feel super special. I can’t wait until my mom goes away again!

We love it when Debbie comes to visit us and take us on walks. We get so excited when she comes to the door, we
can barely contain ourselves. She always takes us to interesting places where we can smell things and pee on trees to
our hearts’ content. And after our walk she always plays fetch with us and scratches our ears. Look how worn-out we
are in our post-walk picture! We wish Debbie would come move in with us. We think she’d be a lot more liberal with
the treats than our mom and dad.

Hello, my name is Rudy and I am a BoxSpring: a Boxer/Springer Spaniel mix. Anyway, I was told I had to say some
great things about my babysitter Debbie and that’s not hard to do. Debbie came over to our house for a play date
before my mom and dad left town and she fell in love with me! She is very good with puppies and thinks about our
every need. Debbie has been babysitting me on occasion and also meets my mom and me at the dog park for play
dates. Her dog Gunther and I are best friends and play very well together. I think she is strict like my mom and dad
because Gunther is a nice dog too! I don’t get sad when my mom says I’m going to spend the day with Debbie and
Gunther because sometimes I need a nice break from home. After all, I do get sick of chasing our cat Izzy though the
house. I would recommend Debbie for any puppy time because she loves Anything Dogs!

I've known Debbie for three years, ever since my moms got me. Debbie got to be one of my best friends after
staying with me when they were out of town. Having her over is such a treat that I hardly miss my moms at all! She's
even made me home-made dog treats that I love to beg for. And I tell all my doggie friends about Debbie's amazing
tummy rubs. I wish every dog was lucky enough to have a Debbie to come and play!

I love Debbie!! She took such great care of me while my mom was out of town. I got to be really great friends with
her dogs and we had a blast wrestling and running around. We even went to the dog park together, my favorite.
One day when the weather wasn’t that great she baked me special dog cookies and I gobbled them up. They were
delicious! Debbie even let me take some home with me. She is also very patient and didn’t get mad at me when I had
a little accident (or two).
My favorite part of having Debbie watch me is that when my mom got home from her trip, she wasn’t worried and
stressed about how I had been (like she usually is), because Debbie left her a letter about all the adventures I had while
she was gone. And you know how us dogs are: if our parents are happy, we are happy!!!

Debbie's the best. She helps me get much needed exercise when my parents are at work. She puts up with my
quirks (no puddles, please), and helps me work on my "weaknesses" (I'm what you might call excessively friendly).
She gives status reports to my parents after every walk. Her detailed reports show that she really gets me (plus, I
think there's some grade inflation going on). My parents like that she can be flexible when they're extra busy; and
they know I'm in good hands when I'm with her. Did I mention the homemade treats?!

Ivy has been a lifesaver for my mom and dad! I was a whole lot of puppy in need of some TLC. The first time I met
Ivy I tried to give the biggest tail wag ever to win her over, and now we are BFF. She helps me out with my puppy
homework so I impress mom and dad when they get home, explores the neighborhood with me every day and
makes sure to share all of my cuteness in her updates for mom and dad. My favorite is when Ivy brings her dog Mesa
along to play with me!! The best part is my parents do not have to worry at all because Ivy takes great care of me.
We love Ivy!!
-- Madison, St. Paul (written with the help of mom, Erin E.)
When it comes to Ivy, I'm at a loss for words. My feelings are best expressed in this sign I made. My mom, who is
much more articulate than I am, wrote this great letter to tell the world how awesome Ivy is.
-- Woof, St. Paul
Ivy is great! Together we tour the neighborhood, practice my good manners and sniff, sniff, sniff! (OK, the sniffing
part is really just my thing.) It had made my household so relaxed now that I get a mid-day break. No one has to
rush home from work and I have even lost a few extra pounds! And because Ivy leaves a report after each walk, my
mom knows where I’ve been and how I’m improving. She makes me feel like a very special dog. Thanks Ivy!
